Straps are made to any lug width you require. Common sizes are 18mm, 20mm, 22mm, and 24mm, but non-standard widths are handled as part of regular production — simply specify your measurement in the form.

Yes. You can choose from over 80 thread colours across three thread types: Classic Polyester, Traditional Waxed Linen, and Bold Braided. Full colour charts are displayed in the commission form when you select a thread type.

What leathers are available?

Accepted Answer

Available leathers include premium calf, suede, nubuck, ostrich shin (leg), full-quill ostrich, Nile crocodile (belly and horn-back), and canvas-leather combinations. Specialist or rare leathers not listed can often be sourced on request.

How do I measure my wrist for a strap?

Accepted Answer

Measure the buckle side from the centre of the spring bar hole to the buckle end (typically 65–80mm), and the tail side from the spring bar hole to the tail tip (typically 110–130mm). For the most accurate results, measure an existing strap that fits you well, or contact us for guidance.

Yes. Every crocodile strap ships with a CITES certificate, and every ostrich strap includes an official tannery letter confirming the leather's origin. These documents are required for international customs clearance.

In most cases, yes. Lombard Bespoke regularly takes on technically demanding commissions — including integrated lug ends, unusual taper profiles, sub-millimetre deployant clasp tolerances, and non-standard padding geometries. If you have a complex brief, it's always worth asking.
