Who We Are
Lombard Bespoke is a trading name of Belt And Band (Pty) Ltd, a company registered in the Republic of South Africa (Reg. No. 2016/195647/07). We design and handcraft bespoke leather watch straps made to individual customer specification.

The Order Process
Every strap we make is bespoke — crafted from scratch to your unique specifications. The process works as follows:
1. Enquiry — you submit your requirements via our Custom Order page or by email.
2. Specification discussion — we confirm all details with you in writing.
3. Written order confirmation — you receive a formal summary of your specifications.
4. Payment invoice — we issue an invoice for the agreed price.
5. Production — your strap is handcrafted once full payment is received.
6. Dispatch — your completed strap is shipped with a tracking number.
No production begins until payment has been received in full.
Bespoke Nature of Products
Because every strap is made to your individual specification, orders cannot be cancelled once production has begun. Please ensure that all specifications — including lug width, strap length, leather type, stitching colour, and buckle choice — are correct before confirming your order.
We will always seek your written confirmation of all specifications before commencing work. Once you have confirmed the specifications in writing and payment has been received, we are unable to accommodate changes or cancellations.
Pricing and Payment
All prices are quoted per order based on your chosen specifications, leather selection, and order complexity. Prices are not fixed across orders and may vary between commissions. The price for your order will always be confirmed in writing before any payment is requested.
Full payment is required before production begins. Accepted payment methods will be confirmed at the time of invoicing. Lombard Bespoke reserves the right to update its pricing at any time, but any changes will only apply to new orders and will always be communicated clearly before payment is requested.
Lead Times and Delivery
Production lead times vary depending on the complexity of your order and our current workload. An estimated lead time will be communicated to you at the time of order confirmation.
We make every effort to meet agreed timelines and will keep you informed throughout the process. However, Lombard Bespoke cannot be held liable for delays caused by factors outside our control, including but not limited to supplier delays, shipping carrier delays, customs processing, or force majeure events.
All orders are dispatched with a tracking number. International orders are shipped via a reliable courier service (typically DHL Express).
Exotic Leathers and Documentation
Crocodile leather straps are supplied with a CITES (Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species) certificate confirming the legal origin of the leather. Ostrich leather straps are supplied with a letter from the tannery confirming the species and origin of the leather.
It is your responsibility to understand the import regulations applicable in your country for exotic leather goods before placing your order. Lombard Bespoke supplies all required documentation but cannot be held responsible for delays, additional duties, or refusals at customs resulting from the import laws of your country.
Intellectual Property
All photographs, designs, written content, and branding on lombardbespoke.com are the property of Belt And Band (Pty) Ltd. You may not reproduce, copy, or use any content from this website without prior written permission.
Photographs of completed customer orders may be used by Lombard Bespoke for portfolio and marketing purposes. If you would prefer that your order not be photographed for this purpose, please notify us in writing before placing your order.
Limitation of Liability
Lombard Bespoke's total liability in respect of any order is limited to the value of that order. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our products or services, including but not limited to loss of income, loss of data, or damage to property.
Natural Variation in Leather
Leather is a natural material. Variation in grain, texture, colour, and surface markings between individual hides is entirely normal and is not a manufacturing defect. Lombard Bespoke selects leather with great care, but we cannot guarantee exact replication of appearance from one order to the next — particularly for exotic leathers such as crocodile and ostrich, where natural grain patterns are inherently unique.
Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms or any order placed with Lombard Bespoke will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of South African courts.
Changes to These Terms
Lombard Bespoke reserves the right to update or amend these Terms of Service at any time. The current version will always be available at lombardbespoke.com. Continued use of the website or placement of an order after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
