Custom FELCO Leather Kits — Pruning Shear Sheaths & Belts
FELCO commissioned us to design and make custom luxury leather sheaths for several of their pruning shears and knife models — and in 2020, to create the grand prizes for their International Pruning Competition in Switzerland.
The Commission
FELCO commissioned us to design and make custom luxury leather sheaths for a few of their pruning shears models and knife models. We came up with a balanced ergonomic sheath design using the traditional wet-moulding technique and saddle stitching for structural strength.
We also made leather handle grips for some of FELCO's loyal clients, including a special set for Ludwig from Ludwig Roses.

The Pruning Competition Prize
In 2020, FELCO commissioned us to make the grand prizes for their International Pruning Competition in Switzerland — sadly cancelled at the last minute due to COVID. We had made bespoke leather kits that included matching leather belts and leather sheaths for pruning shears and pocket knives.
The wet-moulded sheath — formed directly over the FELCO pruning shear body for a perfect, protective fit.
The full prize set laid out — hand-crafted in vegetable-tanned leather, saddle stitched throughout.
Custom leather handle grip wraps — fitted to FELCO shears for select loyal clients, including Ludwig Roses.
