Custom Cigar Case — Wet-Moulded Leather Hard Case
A commission with an unusual engineering challenge at its core — a custom brass plate, precisely shaped as the structural backbone for a wet-moulded leather hard case designed to carry three large cigars.
The Brief
At the core of this piece is a hidden custom brass plate — specially shaped as the structural support for a leather-enrobed hard case designed to carry three large cigars, with an exterior-mounted clipper pocket.
We designed a softer leather sleeve wet-moulded to a precise fit around the brass form. The result is a case that holds its shape perfectly, protects its contents, and feels substantial and deliberate in the hand.
The finished case — full grain tan leather, saddle stitched, with a brass-core hard shell and exterior clipper pocket.
The Stitching
This case features hand-stitched details throughout — baseball herringbone stitch on the seams and saddle stitching on all the edges.

The interior — three precisely proportioned compartments, each lined to protect the cigars.
The exterior clipper pocket — accessible without opening the case, finished with matching saddle stitching.
